What's the difference between a prebiotic and a probiotic?
A probiotic is live bacteria you're adding to your gut. A prebiotic is fiber that feeds the bacteria already living there. They do different jobs, which is why both are in here — the inulin supports your existing population while the LA85 strain adds to it.
Why include digestive enzymes too?
Prebiotics and probiotics affect the bacteria in your gut. Enzymes work on the food itself, supporting the breakdown of protein, carbohydrates, fats, fiber and lactose. DigeZyme is a branded multi enzyme complex covering all five. It's a different part of the process rather than more of the same.
Does the probiotic need refrigeration?
No. Store it in a cool, dry place like any other supplement. The panel lists 1 billion CFU at the time of manufacture, which is the standard way live cultures are declared.
How do I take it?
Two capsules daily with 6 to 8 oz of water. The bottle holds 60 capsules, which is a 30 day supply. If you're pregnant, nursing, under 18, or managing a medical condition, check with your physician first.
